EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2024 🌸

It’s officially Spring! As a Walt Disney World local, that means it’s time for one of the most beloved festivals. If you’re looking for a way to celebrate the Spring season, look no further because Spring has officially sprung at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! From flowers to food, to fun, this is a festival you do not want to miss!

The festival will be happening from February 28th to May 27th, and there is so much to see and do that you might need a few days to do it all! I think a fan favorite of the festival (and every festival at EPCOT, really) has got to be the food. There are so many delicious options to choose from, including returning favorites (such as the violet lemonade!!) and a big selection of new dishes to try! Some of the must-try items on our list this year include the biscuit and gravy with Impossible chicken fried steak and Impossible sausage gravy at Brunchcot, the honey-glazed cauliflower at the Honey Bee-stro, and the plant-based buffalo chicken tender poutine at the Refreshment Port. As a vegetarian, this festival speaks to me when it comes to the food, but there is something for everyone!

Another highlight of the festival is my personal favorite - Butterfly Landing! This beautiful exhibit is for all of my fellow butterfly lovers! It’s filled with hundreds of butterflies, in every stage of their life. It’s a wonderful educational experience for the kiddos as well!

Of course, no trip to the Flower and Garden Festival would be complete without a lovey walk around the park to check out the topiaries! These stunning works of art are scattered throughout EPCOT, and they feature some of our favorite Disney characters. This year, they have quite a few new topiaries that we were excited to see! As you enter the park, you’ll see the new Wish topiary front and center, which includes Asha, Star, and Valentino. There is also a topiary of Miguel and Donte from Coco with unique, night-time projections. But the topiary I am personally most excited about is near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind…GROOT! It even plays music from the movie! Who knew plants could be so cool?

Overall, the International Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT is a must-do every year. With delicious food, beautiful flowers, and stunning topiaries, you simply cannot go wrong. Make sure to mark your calendar and plan your trip to EPCOT this Spring! See you there!
